The Hague wins fDi Connectivity Award
The Hague has won the fDi Euro Cities & Regions of the Future 2018/2019 Award. The city was again named the number one mid-sized city in Europe in the category Connectivity by Financial Times due to its digital connectivity such as upload and download speed, but also its physical connectivity such as the number of (air)ports, highways and other forms of transport in and near the city.
Every two years, the intelligence division of the Financial Times fDi ranks European cities based on their preparedness for the future. The ranking is based on collected data on economic potential, labour environment, cost effectiveness, infrastructure and business friendliness for 489 locations including cities, regions and lager urban zones.
