Deputy Mayor Saskia Bruines welcomes World Justice Forum in The Hague
On Tuesday 10 July Deputy Mayor Saskia Bruines officially welcomed delegates at The World Justice Forum (WJF) during the opening reception at the Mariott Hotel in The Hague. The WJF is an international conference about the rule of law, with 350 delegates from over 70 different countries.
The Deputy Mayor was particularly delighted that this conference focuses on rule of law from different fields of expertise. “The various backgrounds you represent allow us to approach the concept of the ‘rule of law’ from various perspectives. This gives this meeting in The Hague special significance. Your presence here supports the city in shaping peace and justice”, stated the Deputy Mayor.
The World Justice Forum was organised for the fifth time by the World Justice Project. In 2013, the WJF also took place in The Hague. The conference was held from 11 July until 13 July and took place in the World Forum. For more information visit worldjusticeproject.org
