Leading Chinese oil & gas company comes to The Hague
The Hague, 13 November 2015 – Yantai Jereh Oilfield Services Group Co., Ltd, one of China’s largest privately held oil and gas company, and the City of The Hague signed a letter of intent (LoI) during an official signing ceremony in Yantai, China. With this LoI, Mr. Weibin Li, Vice President Jereh Group and Ms. Marleen Zuijderhoudt, Executive Director WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency (WFIA), on behalf of the City of The Hague emphasized their co-operation for setting up a Chinese subsidiary in The Hague.
Jereh Group is an international, integrated oil and gas company specialized in oil and gas engineering and construction, oilfield technology services and equipment manufacturing. Through 15 years of development in the industry, Jereh has become China’s largest privately-held and listed oil and gas company. Today, they have eight global R&D centers staffed with 1200+ professional engineers to encourage technical innovations, striving for long-term leadership in the industry. Moreover, they have established eighteen international branches, enabling close cooperation with customers in over 60 countries.
Jereh Group already visited The Hague earlier this year for a fact-finding trip. The city’s strong cluster of upstream oil and gas companies operating in exploration and production as well as the presence of several international engineering and consultancy firms makes The Hague the ideal location for investing.
