ICP develops platform to connect talent and employers
The Hague, November 11th – Yesterday, the annual International City Podium took place, organized by the International Community Platform (ICP) in cooperation with the WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency (WFIA) and WTC The Hague. Surprising connections were formed between talent and employers during this interactive evening.
Recent research conducted by ICP shows that talent and employers are insufficiently informed about each other. A lack of knowledge about the local labour market has led the majority of applicants to apply for jobs at renowned multinationals, while the rapidly-growing but relatively unknown mid-cappers and innovative start-ups are desperately in search of highly educated personnel to realize their potential and ambition.
ICP now develops an online solution for this problem, the ‘Access to Talent’ platform, based on the principles of Passion, Purpose and Potential, which aims create a permanent talent pool of like-minded employees and employers. According to ICP, employers still put too much emphasize on applicants’ history instead of their potential. During the International City Podium, visitors were introduced to a live demonstration of this platform (please click here for more information).
