Opening of 1st China Auto Parts/After-sales Exhibition in EU
The Hague, 14 September – The first China Auto Parts & After-sales (The Netherlands) Exhibition had its grand opening on Monday 14 September 2015 at De Werf 11 in The Hague. The exhibition was opened by Vice Mayor for Economic Affairs Karsten Klein. The same date also marks the opening of the GIA Trade & Exhibition Centre. This GIA Trade & Exhibition Centre is an initiative by Jiahe Shengde with the intention to develop a professional auto parts service platform connecting the Chinese and Dutch/European automotive aftermarket. The China Auto Parts & After-sales exhibition is the first event in the Netherlands focusing on Chinese auto parts and accessories. With a surface area of about 8000 square meters on the ground floor, this exhibition is home to about 100 exhibitors, including over 20 high-quality auto parts and accessories manufacturers from China. Exhibitors are also provided with a year-round exhibition area where products can be displayed on an annual basis. The year-round exhibition as well as the three-day exhibition provides the exhibitors with the opportunity to generate potential businesses with a total turnover of about 100 million euros in the upcoming year.
With the rising prospect of the Chinese automotive industry, in particular the aftermarket, as well as the “One Belt, One Road” initiative put forward by the Chinese government, Chinese auto parts and accessories manufacturers perceive increased opportunities to enhance their product presence in the international market. Strategically involved in the global automotive aftermarket, Jiahe Shengde has already invested in several automotive service and remanufacturing platforms in China (Wuzhou & Guangzhou) and The Netherlands (The Hague), with upcoming investments in the United States and South America.
This three-day exhibition is jointly organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangdong Committee, CCPIT Commercial Sub-Council, China National Automobile Industry Parts Sales Co. Ltd., China Auto Parts Supplies Industry Federation, and Jiahe Shengde Investment Holdings B.V. In addition, the Exhibition is supported by the Embassy of the P.R.C. in the Netherlands, the Embassy of Panama in the Netherlands, the Embassy of Bulgaria in the Netherlands, City of The Hague, WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency (WFIA), and the Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion (NCH).
